Amber Simpson, MBA-HCAD, MSW, LCSW-S is the national Director of Community Engagement at Tissue Health Plus, where she leads national strategy for integrating Social Drivers of Health (SDOH) into wound care. With over 20 years of healthcare experience, from frontline patient care to healthcare leadership, Amber has a unique understanding of how systems impact healing outcomes and access to care.
At Tissue Health Plus, she develops SDOH, Community Health Integration (CHI) and mental health protocols, is building a national team of licensed social workers, and designs educational programs that address the intersection of clinical care, social complexity, and health equity. Her work includes creating patient and caregiver psychoeducation programs, staff trainings on inclusive care and culturally responsive communication, and community partnerships to close gaps in access.
Amber also serves on the Board of Directors for the NASW Texas Chapter and is a recognized advocate for elevating the role of social work in healthcare. She is the founder of Eunoia Wellness Counseling, a multi-state private practice specializing in insomnia treatment and wellness, and has been featured in multiple national publications.
Amber holds a Master of Social Work from Southern Illinois University and an MBA with a Healthcare Administration Certificate from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Supervisor. She is passionate about bringing compassion, strategy, and equity to every level of care.
