Frank is the Director of Lymphatic and Wound Healing Services at Hyperbaric Physicians of Georgia, Wound Care Clinical Coordinator at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center (NRMC) overseeing, and President of The Save a Leg Save a Life Foundation (SALSAL). He has over 32 years of wound care experience practicing across the continuum of care and serves in multiple roles as a physical therapist, wound and lymphedema specialist, hyperbaric technician, consultant, and educator.

Frank was instrumental in developing a successful inpatient pressure injury prevention program based on nutrition receiving recognition from the National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (NPIAP) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Recently, he was involved researching the effects of microgravity on the venous and lymphatic system as well as joining a research team from Duke University led by Tracy Yap regarding the use of technology and pressure injuries. He continues to educate on wound care, lymphedema, and being a patient advocate.

He is a board Certified Wound Specialist (CWS), a fellow of the American College of Certified Wound Specialists (ACCWS), a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) with national certification through the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA), a wound care & lymphedema instructor, advanced wound care certified (AWCC), member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 1990, Why Wound Care advisory board member for HMP Global, editorial board member for Today’s Wound Clinic, Today’s Wound Clinic – “Let’s Be Frank” columnist, board member for Community Healthcare Education Network (CHEN), board of directors for the American Professional Wound Care Association (APWCA), advisory board member for Wound Source, education committee member for the American College of Certified Wound Specialist (ACCWS), Peer Review Panel member for Advances in Skin and Wound Care, editorial board member for the international Wound Masterclass journal, editor/reviewer for the Journal of Diabetes Science & Technology, co-owner of The Frank & Lizzie Show YouTube educational channel, and planning committee member for the Symposium of Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) and APWCA.
