Yingshuo Liu is an AI Engineer at Tulane University School of Medicine, where he works within the TRIAD Center and the Tulane Heart & Vascular Institute on large-scale digital health and cardiovascular AI research. He received his MS in Biostatistics from Columbia University in the City of New York and his BS from Emory University. His work focuses on machine learning and deep learning methods for wearable and clinical signal analysis, with particular expertise in ECG and PPG processing, signal quality assessment, and multimodal physiological modeling. Yingshuo has led the development of end-to-end AI pipelines spanning data engineering, model training, and clinical validation, and has contributed to multiple high-impact projects including the Samsung-sponsored HEARTBEAT Study, DECAAF II, and the TiPPs database. His current research interests include foundation models for biosignals, cross-modal transfer learning, and the translation of AI algorithms into clinically deployable and regulatory-ready digital health solutions.
