Arwa Younis, MD, is associate director of Translational Electrophysiology in the Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing Section of the Tomsich Family Department of Cardiovascular Medicine within the Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute.
Catheter ablation, atrial fibrillation (AF), atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), left atrial appendage closure, Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (WPW), ventricular tachycardia (VT), premature ventricular complexes, pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD).
Dr. Younis began his subspecialty training as a research fellow in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, NY, from which he finished with distinction. He then joined the Cleveland Clinic in 2021 and continued his training with a special combined clinical and research fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology with over 1000 electrophysiology procedures, including hundreds of complex procedures.
Dr. Younis is considered pioneer in PFA research especially in animal lab models and has published numerous studies within the last years.
