Research Scientist
Tulane University

Christian Massad is a research scientist at the Tulane Research Innovation for Arrhythmia Discovery (TRIAD), where his work focuses on advancing the understanding and management of atrial fibrillation (AF). His academic interests encompass cardiac MRI, AF burden, catheter ablation strategies, and the integration of artificial intelligence and remote monitoring technologies into clinical workflows. This translates to multidisciplinary initiatives that combine imaging biomarkers, procedural data, and digital health tools to enhance precision in AF therapy. His work aims to refine patient selection, improve procedural planning, and develop more meaningful endpoints for assessing outcomes beyond traditional recurrence metrics. He has presented his research at leading international electrophysiology and cardiology conferences. Through these efforts, Dr. Massad is committed to contributing to a more individualized and data-driven approach to AF management.
