Chad Lahman is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He joined the faculty of the Tulane University School of Medicine, Section of Cardiology as an Instructor of Medicine in January of 2024 and specializes in cardiac electrophysiology. Chad earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2015. He worked as a Registered Nurse at the Level 1 trauma center at Interim LSU Hospital (ILH) and University Medical Center of New Orleans (UMCNO) for four years, where he gained valuable experience in emergency medicine and critical care. After obtaining his Master of Science of Nursing degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2019, Chad spent five years refining his clinical skills and patient care expertise in the urgent care setting.

Christian Mahnkopf

Christian Mahnkopf, MD, PhD, FESC, is a consultant cardiologist specializing in cardiovascular imaging, clinical and geriatric cardiology. Following his medical studies at Kiel University, he completed his residency and specialist training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Klinikum Coburg. In 2010, he undertook a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, under the mentorship of Prof. Nassir Marrouche, focusing on atrial fibrillation and cardiac electrophysiology.

From 2021 to 2025, Dr. Mahnkopf served as Chairman of the Department of Cardiology at Klinikum Coburg. Since April 2025, he has been Senior Consultant in the Department of Internal Medicine at Martha-Maria Hospital St. Theresien, Nuremberg. He holds board certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and has additional certifications in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Level III, DGK/SCMR), Intensive Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Hypertension, and Heart Failure.

Dr. Mahnkopf's clinical and translational research is centered on advanced cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging, with a particular focus on the characterization of atrial myopathy and its mechanistic role in atrial fibrillation, heart failure, and age-related cardiovascular disease. His work aims to improve phenotyping, risk stratification, and individualized therapeutic strategies through multimodality imaging.

He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and an active member of the German Cardiac Society (DGK). He currently serves as the incoming Speaker of Working Group 29 (Geriatric Cardiology) of the DGK, promoting research and interdisciplinary collaboration in cardiovascular care for the ageing population.

Madhu Reddy

Dr. Reddy is the Chief of Cardiac Electrophysiology and High and Bety Libby Endowed Professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He completed his residency and cardiovascular fellowships at Creighton University in Omaha Nebraska, Upon completion he did his fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Dr. Reddy is the Chief of the Division of Cardiac Electrophysiology (Heart Rhythm Services) for the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine. He also the Program Director for the Cardiac Arrhythmia fellowship program.

In addition to being very busy clinically, Dr. Reddy is very passionate about teaching and clinical research. His research interests include left atrial appendage occlusion, artificial intelligence in medicine, complex arrhythmia management including ventricular tachycardia ablation and atrial fibrillation ablation. He has recently completed his MBA in Healthcare and plays many roles in hospital management.

He has had more than 150 articles published in peer reviewed medical journals to date and more than 350 abstracts presented at national and international meetings. He is invited as a faculty at multiple regional, national and international conferences.

Janet Han

Dr. Janet K. Han is a Clinical Professor of Medicine and cardiac electrophysiologist at UCLA and VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System where she is director of the Cardiac Arrhythmia Devices and Digital Health Program.
She has been a member of the Heart Rhythm Society since 2007 and is currently a member of the HRS Board of Trustees. She has been instrumental in the development of structured, real-time science communication for the HRS Annual Scientific Sessions. As Chair of the HRS Communications committee she helped to set the vision for HRS communications strategies, playing a critical role in the development of Heart Rhythm TV. As Chair of the Growth and Leadership Opportunities for Women in Electrophysiology she dedicated herself to the engagement and promotion of future leaders in EP.
She has worked with the National VA Office of Connected Care & the VA Innovations Ecosystem to cement the critical role of digital health and remote monitoring for Veterans’ arrhythmia care. She served as Vice Chair of the American College of Cardiology Digital Strategy Committee where she set policy governing ACC’s digital strategy. She was also co-chair for the 2024 American Heart Association Arrhythmia and EP Committee on Scientific Sessions Programming, Clinical Science co-lead, and continues to be a member of the AHA EP leadership committee.
Her research interests include implantable cardiac devices, arrhythmia management and prevention, and digital health including cardiac monitoring, wearables and remote monitoring, with scientific contributions including co-authoring international scientific statements, expert decision pathways & guidelines.

Tina Baykaner is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and Electrophysiology. Following internal medicine residency and cardiovascular medicine a at University of California, San Diego and electrophysiology fellowship at Stanford University, Dr. Baykaner joined Stanford University faculty in 2018. Dr. Baykaner’s current research interests include outcomes research, epidemiology and mechanisms of rhythm disorders. She is currently funded by the National Institutes of Health to study patient related outcomes regarding atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation. She received prior research funding from American Heart Association and Heart Rhythm Society.

Roderick Tung, MD, is a specialist in cardiac electrophysiology. He is an expert in the management of heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias), with a particular focus on advanced therapies for atrial fibrillation and ventricular arrhythmias. He specializes in catheter ablation — a procedure that targets and cauterizes abnormal tissue to eliminate heart rhythm irregularities. Dr. Tung is also one of a few electrophysiologists in the world who routinely performs epicardial mapping and ablation.

In addition to Dr. Tung's clinical work, he is dedicated to researching and investigating new and innovative ways to treat and manage arrhythmias. He currently serves as the principal investigator for several prospective clinical trials focusing on the role of robotic navigation, high-density multi-electrode mapping and early intervention to improve patient survival. Dr. Tung's work has been published in numerous respected, peer-reviewed journals, including Circulation, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Heart Rhythm, Circulation: Arrhythmia Electrophysiology and Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology.

Dr. Kamel is the Helen and Albert Moon Professor, Chief of Neurocritical Care, and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Neurology at Weill Cornell Medicine. He is the Director of the Clinical and Translational Neuroscience Unit in the Feil Family Brain and Mind Research Institute at Weill Cornell Medicine. His research focuses on the relationship between cardiac disease and stroke. He was a principal investigator and protocol lead for the NIH-funded ARCADIA trial, which tested antithrombotic strategies in patients with stroke and atrial cardiopathy. He is also a principal investigator of the NIH-funded ASPIRE trial, which is testing antithrombotic strategies in patients with atrial fibrillation and intracerebral hemorrhage. He serves on the NIH StrokeNet Executive Committee and chairs its Prevention Working Group. He has published over 400 scientific publications, including in leading journals such as NEJM and JAMA.

Adrian F. Hernandez, MD is a cardiologist, clinical trialist, and academic leader at Duke University. He serves as Vice Dean of the Duke University School of Medicine and is Executive Director of the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI), one of the world’s leading academic clinical research organizations, where he oversees a broad portfolio of clinical trials and evidence-generation initiatives spanning cardiovascular disease, metabolic disorders, infectious diseases, and other major public health challenges.

Dr. Hernandez is internationally recognized for his contributions to clinical research, pragmatic trial design, implementation science, and the development of innovative approaches to generating real-world evidence. Throughout his career, he has led and collaborated on numerous large-scale national and global studies that have informed clinical practice guidelines, regulatory decision-making, and health policy. His work focuses on improving the quality, efficiency, and applicability of clinical research through novel trial designs, digital health technologies, artificial intelligence, and learning health systems. He has published over 800 publications and is an elected member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation, the Association of American Physicians and chairs the board of directors of the Reagan-Udall Foundation.

Jason Andrade is the Director of Electrophysiology at Vancouver General Hospital in Canada. He is a Professor of Medicine at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He is the current co-chair of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS) Device Therapy Guidelines, former co-chair of the CCS Atrial Fibrillation Guidelines, past chair of the Canadian Heart Rhythm Society Device Committee, and inaugural medical chair for Heart Rhythm Disease for the province of British Columbia. He has authored over 370 publications and was the PI for the CIRCA-DOSE, EARLY-AF/PROGRESIVE-AF, CRYO-LATS and OPTIMAL AF-HF randomized trials.
