Dr. Tamirisa completed her training in Internal Medicine and served as Chief Resident at St. Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri. She then went on to complete her General Cardiology, Cardiac Electrophysiology, and Cardiac MRI fellowships at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan. She joined a large cardiology group (ProMedica Physicians Cardiology). She was part of ProMedica Health System in Ohio where she served as the Director of the Arrhythmia Services, ProMedica Heart Institute Board member & Heart Institute EP council member. While maintaining active cardiology and the Director of Education/curriculum development. She subsequently joined Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia as the first female electrophysiologist.

She volunteered on numerous committees in HRS abd currently serves on the HRS Board.
Dr. Tamirisa’s special interests in Cardiac Electrophysiology include leadless technology,cardiac resynchronization therapy and conduction system pacing & prevention of AF. Her niche in EP arrhythmia management in pregnancy and cancer patients. She is the Director for Cardio-Obstetrics and is a Cardiac MRI clinical specialist.
