Angela Faircloth is a passionate advocate for community health and substance use prevention. A graduate of the University of Minnesota’s College of Human Ecology, she holds a degree in Family Social Science and has built her career at the intersection of public service, advocacy, and strategic communication.

Angela co-founded Kody’s Closet, a nonprofit created in memory of her nephew, to raise awareness around overdose prevention and provide essential hygiene supplies to underserved students. Today, she continues this mission at Deterra, where she applies her expertise in marketing, project management, and community engagement to advance safe opioid disposal and prevention strategies.

With a background in hospitality and marketing, from Marriott to Audacy, Angela brings a service-driven, empathetic approach to every initiative. Her commitment to collaboration and community resilience uniquely equips her to support local efforts in combating substance misuse.
