Travis was born and raised in West Virginia. He has a background in the construction and electrical trades, spanning many years. As a person in long-term recovery, Travis was inspired to give back to the community by entering into Peer Recovery Support. He is currently a part of the new Police and Peers program in WV and is involved in various other recovery support initiatives. Travis is also an active member of the local recovery community and deeply values his life in recovery. He states, “Experiencing life now, I want to help others like me find a better life.”
