Tara Moseley Hyde, a passionate champion for substance use recovery, became the Chief Executive Officer of People Advocating Recovery (PAR) in 2022. Holding dual master’s degrees in public administration and public policy from American University, and a bachelor’s in public policy and pre-law from the University of Louisville, Tara’s journey in long-term recovery since 2011 fuels her commitment. She also serves as Vice President of the Advisory Board for the Kentucky Recovery Housing Network and sits on the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment National Advisory Council at SAMHSA. Tara is celebrated for her innovative HR policies that support the successful reintegration of individuals with substance use disorders into the workforce and for establishing vital standards for recovery peer support services. Her work continues to inspire and transform recovery landscapes nationwide.
