Ansley Hobbs

Ansley Hobbs is a public health researcher and survey methodologist with experience in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methodology research in both international and domestic settings. She is currently a PhD student studying Community Health and Health Policy.

Ansley serves as a mental health navigator with Harlem Strong and a research assistant to Dr. Diana Romero on several projects related to substance use, child welfare, and reproductive health services. Ansley previously worked at the Center for Immigrant, Refugee, and Global Health, where she oversaw the development and implementation of priority tools and resources designed for migrant-serving organizations in New York City and State. Prior to this, she coordinated knowledge management and strategic communications for the USAID-funded Health Evaluation and Applied Research Development (HEARD) Project, a global partnership designed to generate and synthesize evidence to improve policy implementation. Anlsey has diverse research interests, including immigration policies and their impact on migrant health; violence prevention; maternal, child, and reproductive health; and equitable service and health care access for vulnerable populations. She holds an MPH from the City University of New York's Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy. She received her BS in Health Education and Behavior from the University of Florida, with a minor in Organizational Leadership for Nonprofits.
