Melissa Clark

AHEC West Associate Director Melissa Clark has spearheaded every organizational initiative related to the regional opioid epidemic. Melissa joined AHEC West in 2016, following two decades of experience leading nonprofits. She brings a personal commitment to harm reduction, having experienced firsthand through family and friends the devastation wrought by addiction. For Melissa, there is no bureaucratic mountain high enough – and no opponent loud enough – to stop her from working to make life better and longer for people who use substances.
