Amanda Sandoval

Amanda Sandoval is the Director of Communications and Prevention Services for High Point Treatment Center. Sandoval received her Bachelor's degree as well as her Masters Degree of Clinical Social Work from Bridgewater State University. Amanda started working with High Point Treatment Center in 2012 as a part-time administrative assistant on a single grant to address opioid overdose prevention in the city of Brockton. Over the past twelve years, Sandoval has worked to strengthen prevention related initiatives and policies, build trusted partnerships and address the increased needs of the region. Through this, High Point created a Prevention Services Department and expanded it's mission for the agency to include substance use prevention. In her role today, she oversees ten prevention grants spanning across eleven communities in Bristol and Plymouth County, Massachusetts.

Amanda is a Certified Community Health Worker and an adjunct professor at Stonehill College in the Sociology Department. In 2017, Amanda was highlighted as the South Shore FACTS Hero in Substance Use Prevention and in 2019, she was recognized by the Community Services of Greater Brockton for the Excellence in Leadership Award.
