Dr. Padula is a principal and co-founder at Stage Analytics, a Professor of Pharmaceutical and Health Economics at University of Southern California, and a Fellow in the Leonard Schaeffer Center for Health Policy & Economics. He is a thought leader on applications in health economics to questions regarding the cost-effectiveness and value of pharmaceuticals, medical devices and diagnostics that improve public health and patient safety. His scientific research has resulted in more than 100 publications. He is the Associate Editor of Value in Health, the leading global journal in health economics, and has served in a number of high-profile cases brought against opioid manufacturers as the expert economist to calculate the economic impact of damages due to the opioid crisis as well as the costs of public health solutions to the issue across the U.S.
