Dr. Jennifer Erwin, LPCC-S, CADC embodies a dedication to empowering individuals on their journey to recovery as the Director of Clinical Services at Hope in the Mountains in Prestonsburg, KY. With over 14 years of experience in the field, Jennifer has honed her expertise in developing and maintaining comprehensive treatment programs that prioritize holistic healing and long-term wellness for individuals in rural areas. Jennifer holds a Doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision and is Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the State of Kentucky.

Jennifer's leadership extends beyond the clinical realm, as she actively advocates for destigmatizing addiction and promoting evidence-based interventions. Through her research focused on trauma and substance use disorders, presentations at state and national conferences, and her mentorship of aspiring clinicians, she works to elevate the standard of care in addiction treatment. As a person in long-term recovery, Jennifer has a profound understanding of the challenges individuals face on the path to recovery and she works to inspire the belief that every person has the potential to achieve lasting recovery and reclaim their lives.
