Gloria Rosado
MPH

With an educational background in public health communications, Gloria has 9 years of experience working at various social-ecological levels in the public health sphere. At Rescue, Gloria is an Associate Director of Strategy where she develops research-informed and empathy-grounded strategic approaches for public health campaigns across the country. She currently serves as a strategic lead for state and local public health campaigns on topics such as cannabis, fentanyl, opioids, stimulants, and TANF benefits. In addition, Gloria is also recognized as the Strategy Chair for the Latino Audience Division at Rescue, which is a division dedicated to ensuring the creation of culturally appropriate, authentic and effective campaigns for Latino audiences.

Prior to Rescue, Gloria worked at the community, municipal, and organizational levels to improve public health outcomes and patient care through health communications. She has worked directly with food insecure families to increase access to fresh produce, as well as for several local public health initiatives, health department communications, and health and science communications for the nation’s largest hospital-based research program at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her work as an award-winning science writer has garnered millions of impressions and helped increase the visibility of and funding for ground-breaking medical research to improve patient care.
