In January 2011, Orman Hall was appointed by then-Governor of Ohio, Kasich, to lead the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services. Between 2013 and 2014, he took on the role of Director for the Governor’s Cabinet Opiate Action Team, concentrating on assessing the magnitude of opioid addiction within Ohio and formulating plans for treatment, education in communities, and preventive measures. Hall currently holds the position of senior program analyst for the National Emerging Threats Initiative.
