Kiandra Foster
MPIA

Kiandra Foster, MPIA, is the Program Manager for the Overdose Reduction Technical Assistance Center within PERU’s Community Health Initiatives (CHI). She earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Denver and a Master of Public & International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh. In this role, Kiandra manages the team that guides coalitions addressing substance use disorder and preventing overdoses through strategic planning and the implementation of evidence-based initiatives.

Prior to this work, Kiandra directed intervention-focused human services for low-income individuals, families, and veterans experiencing crisis. Additionally, she led initiatives that engaged schools, businesses, health systems, and community groups to prevent and address sexual assault and intimate partner violence. Her work, then and now, has been driven by her passion for demonstrating and strengthening the relationships between key institutions (nonprofit, government, education, and healthcare) to improve the well-being of individuals and communities.
