Erin Jamieson Day
MPH, CPS

Erin Jamieson Day joined Community Impact NC in October of 2018 and is the Chief Executive Officer. She holds a Master of Public Health degree from UNC Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Religion & Philosophy from Barton College.

Erin has over 15 years experience in the field of addictions. She has over 10 years experience in leading a community prevention coalition and training communities to begin community level prevention efforts. Erin is a Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) by the North Carolina Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board. She currently serves on the board of the NC Prevention Providers Association, as the co-chair of the policy/legislative committee for the NC Substance Use Disorder Federation, and Vice Chair of The Coalition, representing SUD, IDD, and MH professionals.

Erin is a recovery ally and has experience loving someone with a substance use disorder. She has personally helped navigate the behavioral health system in NC and she is a founder of Wilson’s Recovery Community Center, RC3. Erin works to be informed of public resources, underground resources, and legislation that impacts those living with a substance use disorder.
