Sherman A. Brown began his political career as an intern on Ken Lucas’ 2002 reelection campaign for U.S. Congress. He continued his path, holding senior roles ranging from local municipal elections to statewide gubernatorial and U.S. Senate campaigns. Brown most recently served as Deputy Campaign Manager on the 2011 reelection slate of Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear and Jerry Abramson. Brown joined McCarthy Strategic Solutions in 2011. His government relations advocacy covers a broad range of issues relating to small businesses' needs, nonprofit entities, and healthcare. Deeply involved in the community, Sherman currently serves on the University of Louisville Presidents Council and other nonprofit organizations. Born and raised in Louisville, Sherman Brown earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from Xavier University in Cincinnati and completed his Master of Public Administration from Western Kentucky University.
