Bio: Molly Dowling is a senior health communication specialist in the Division of Overdose Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She oversees training and education to assist healthcare professionals implement CDC’s opioid prescribing guideline and drug overdose harm reduction activities. She collaborates with multiple disciplines to develop trainings, tools, and resources that are specific to care environments and patient population.
Ms. Dowling received a Master of Public Health from Emory University. Prior to CDC, she worked in human resources, education, and training and has developed educational materials for a variety of audiences from corporate employees to Japanese school children.
