John Wardrop
SFC

SFC John Wardrop, joined the Connecticut Army National Guard in September 2009. SFC John Wardrop rose the ranks to become a Platoon Sergeant of the 143d Military Police Company, that he deployed with in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) in Afghanistan from 2012 to 2013. SFC Wardrop is currently assigned as the 643d Military Police Company Operations Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management and Homeland Security from Post University and is a graduate of the Army’s Senior NCO Leadership Course.

In June 2017, SFC Wardrop, was selected to work full-time for the Connecticut National Guard Counterdrug Program where he was assigned to the New Haven Police Department Investigative Services Division (ISD) until the end of September 2017. Since October 2017, SFC Wardrop has been assigned to the Connecticut Intelligence Center (CTIC), where he works in conjunction with partners from the New England High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (NEHIDTA) to develop drug intelligence and situational awareness products, the CTIC Drug Monitoring Initiative (DMI) and coordinates a Drug Intelligence Working Group.
