Alice Zhang
MD, MPH

Alice Zhang is a family medicine physician and Assistant Professor at Penn State College of Medicine. Her research interests include implementation science, harm reduction, community-based interventions, and health equity. She graduated magna cum laude from Duke University before going to University of Maryland School of Medicine for medical school and completing her family medicine residency at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health. She completed a primary care research fellowship and Master's in Public Health at Penn State College of Medicine, before joining the faculty as Assistant Professor in 2023. Her most recent endeavor has been leading the implementation of harm reduction-focused vending machines in central Pennsylvania.
