Whitney Van Arsdale
MPH, CPH

Whitney Van Arsdale is a biostatistician for the Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County and is currently serving as Program Manager for Overdose Data to Action: Local, awarded in August 2023. She has also worked on the previous iteration of the OD2A program, where she helped developed innovative methods to overdose surveillance using multidisciplinary data integration that examined the overdose epidemic in new ways and helped to guide prevention and response efforts in the community. She earned her bachelor's degree from Nova Southeastern University and her master’s degree from the University of South Florida. As a life-long resident of South Florida, she has seen the devistation caused by the overdose epidemic and will continue to develop innovative surveillance methods to empower prevention programs in her community.
