Talia Spark
PhD

Talia Spark is a Principal Research Associate with more than 13 years of experience in behavioral health and public health surveillance data and research. She received an MS and PhD in Epidemiology at the Colorado School of Public Health and has worked for local, state, and federal government in various roles focused on describing the burden of mental health and substance use in different populaitons. Dr. Spark currently works at Westat where she serves as the Dissemination Lead for the Drug Abuse Warning Network (DAWN), an emergency department based drug surveillance system run by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA).
