Whitney Maddox
MA, LPC

Whitney Maddox is a Licensed Professional Counselor serving as the Supervisor of CATALIST with Valley Health Outpatient Behavioral Health | Winchester. She graduated with her Master of Counseling degree from West Virginia University and is a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. Whitney has worked in various direct care and management settings, including foster care, schools, and home-based programs. She joined Valley Health in March 2020 and has over 15 years of experience working with individuals of all ages providing individual, group and family therapy.
As the CATALIST Supervisor, Whitney is responsible for the day-to-day management of operations and care navigation for the CATALIST program for youth ages 12-18 and their caregivers. Whitney is thrilled to use her extensive background of direct clinical care, community partnership, supervision and the management of community-based programs to expand adolescent services in our community. Her approach is dynamic and includes evidenced based theory and creative techniques to motivate and empower individuals in their journey towards growth and healing.
Whitney was born and raised in Winchester, VA. After attending WVU for her bachelor and master's programs, she returned home to friends and family and now resides in Clarke County, VA with her 6-year-old daughter. Whitney is an avid community helper, serving as the Recorder for the Town of Boyce, Events Coordinator for Boyce Elementary School’s PTO, and Conference Chair of the Northern Shenandoah Valley Alliance for Children, Youth and Families.
