Kristina Killen

Ms. Killen brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role as a Senior Program Associate at the Center for Children and Family Futures (CCFF), the organization that holds the contract for the National Center on Substance Abuse and Child Welfare. She develops materials and provides training and technical assistance (TTA) to jurisdictions to 1) enhance policy and practice strategies as well as collaborative practice; and 2) build capacity to support best practice with children and families to strengthen safety, well-being, and permanency outcomes. Ms. Killen brings 4 years of experience implementing the National Sobriety Treatment and Recovery Teams (START) model to state and local jurisdictions and has 10 years of experience in child welfare and 3 years in adult and juvenile justice, instilling in her a personal appreciation of frontline practice.
