Julia Consentino

Julia Consentino is a Prevention Coordinator and certified Community Health Worker with High Point Treatment Center's Prevention Services Department out of Brockton Massachusetts. She has been with Prevention Services for over a year, first as an intern and now as a full time employee. She is a graduate of Stonehill College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology with minors in Sociology and Business Administration. As part of the Prevention Services team, Julia has facilitated multiple Photovoice projects engaging and empowering youth to use their voices. She also had the opportunity to become a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor and is able to provide Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings across southeastern Massachusetts. She maintains an active role in Brockton Area community coalitions and supporting the different sectors in their prevention efforts. In addition, she supports the Prevention team's educational presentations within the local schools and substance use prevention social media campaigns. Her role also includes creating community substance use prevention and mental health resources, such as an in depth Drug Guidebook and mental health resource guide.
