In her role as partner and Digital Storyteller at CTS Agency, Carolyn Capern wears many hats. She leads the content team in projects that develop creative messaging for a mission.
For more than a decade, Carolyn has overseen messaging for cause-based marketing campaigns that have positively impacted a range of important community issues. Highlights include the Rethink Homelessness campaign for the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness; the “Together” campaign for Orlando United Assistance Center and Heart of Florida United Way; and the “Better Without It” campaign for Central Florida Cares and the State of Kentucky Office of the Attorney General.
Carolyn is a writer who has authored reports, editorials, and articles for entities such as the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness, the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, the Orlando Business Journal, the International Association of Business Communicators, and more. She has also taught marketing courses at the Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership at Rollins College.
Carolyn is an active community leader and graduate of Leadership Orlando, who was recognized in 2019 as a “Woman to Watch” by the Orlando Business Journal. Outside of her agency work, she is writing a mystery novel and a television show and serves as Secretary on the board of directors for Central Care Mission.
