Values based leader and advocate for optimizing quality of patient care by frontline clinicians to prevent addiction outcomes and provide treatment for substance use disorder. Kelly’s work has spanned across private, governmental, and nonprofit organizations. Kelly holds an M.A. in Leadership and is currently pursuing a PhD in Advanced Studies of Human Behavior. Kelly brings prior experience in the faith-based and community rehabilitation nonprofit sectors. As an Opioid Program Manager with a large Midwestern health care system, Kelly leads an opioid stewardship program addressing quality improvement topics, including opioid prescribing, provider education and clinical practices to respond to the opioid crisis. Kelly also liaises for her organization to Department of Human Services Opioid Prescribing Improvement Program and has served as an advisory member on the American Hospital Association Stem the Tide toolkit project.
