Retired Emergency Physician after 35 years clinical practice at MultiCare Auburn Medical Center in South Seattle, WA. In that capacity served as Chief of Emergency Services, Trauma, Stroke,Education and Chief-of-Staff among many roles. Upon retirement Hospital founded the Stephen H Anderson Leadership and Service annual award. Named Physician of the Year for the American Heart Association, led the Auburn Mayor’s Health Task force, and created the R.E.A.D.Y. Program and because of it awarded the Innovation In Suicide Prevention by The American Association for Suicide Prevention. Numerous other Awards along the way.
Service to the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) included Treasurer, Chair of the Board, Lifetime Communication Award, and the Rupke Legacy Lifetime Award among other.
Now serve as Chair of The Naloxone Project, TNP (a 501c3) dedicated to increasing sustainable access to Naloxone in America. TNP is also active in Youth Overdose Programs to bring Naloxone & overdose education into schools.
