Eric Bailly, LPC, LADC, is the Founder of NorthStar Behavioral Health Advisory, a strategic advisory firm helping behavioral health, recovery, academic, and advocacy organizations strengthen operations, diversify revenue, and advance payment innovation. A licensed behavioral health clinician and person in long-term recovery, Eric brings more than 25 years of experience across direct substance use disorder treatment, crisis services, managed care operations, payer strategy, health policy, and behavioral health system transformation.
Prior to founding NorthStar, Eric served as Senior Director at Third Horizon, where he supported national efforts related to addiction payment reform, behavioral health integration, and alternative payment models. He previously spent 15 years at Elevance Health, where his work culminated in enterprise-level substance use disorder strategy and opioid overdose response. Eric is also a Resident Scholar and Adjunct Professor at Concordia College’s School of Health Professions, where he teaches and supports curriculum development for the next generation of behavioral health and healthcare leaders.
