Troy Whitworth

Steven "Troy" Whitworth completed his PhD in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from the University of Georgia. Upon completion of his degree, he was a research scientist working in drug discovery for five years. He then transitioned to a Medical Affairs position as a Medical Science Liaison, a role he has held for over twenty-four years. Much of his time has been spent in the neurology and psychiatry therapeutic areas. He has supported clinical development and education in mood disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disease, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy and ADHD. Over his career has supported clinical development resulting in the approval of nine medications in several of the therapeutic areas previously listed.
