Allison Sikorsky, DNP, PMHNP, is a healthcare innovator and founder of PMHScribe, an AI scribe featuring AI-enhanced practice management tools designed for psychiatric and mental health clinicians. With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare and a 2011 graduate of Rush University, Allison has built her career at the intersection of patient care, technology integration, and automation to improve both provider and patient experiences.
In 2017, she founded a multistate telepsychiatry group practice spanning 22 states. Allison built this platform-as-a-service for other PMHNPs and clinicians to run their own practices, featuring a custom electronic medical record, asynchronous telemedicine, AI-enhanced workflow automation, and more. Building on that experience, Allison developed PMHScribe to simplify documentation, improve efficiency, and reduce burnout among mental health professionals by leveraging the ethical and practical use of artificial intelligence.
She also serves as Co-Chair of the Telemental Health Special Interest Group for the American Telemedicine Association, contributing to national standards for responsible AI use and safe prescribing of controlled medications in telemental health. Through PMHScribe, Allison continues to create intelligent, clinician-centered tools that streamline workflows, elevate the quality of psychiatric care, and reduce PMHNP burnout.
