Jeff Olney

Jeff Olney, PhD, a senior medical science liaison at Alkermes, provides support for Washington DC, Virginia, Kentucky, and North Carolina. He earned his doctorate in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of North Carolina and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan. During his extensive academic career, Jeff's research focused on the neurobiology of the mesolimbic system, particularly how dysfunction in this circuit contributes to psychosis, addiction, and depression.

As an MSL at Alkermes, Jeff leverages his expertise to assist clinicians in making more informed treatment decisions. He serves as an unbiased, objective resource, helping clinicians better understand the therapeutic landscape and use Alkermes' medications safely and appropriately, ultimately aiming to improve patient outcomes.
