Mark is currently an Associate Medical Director, CNS Trial Excellence at Teva Pharmaceuticals. He joined Teva as an MSL in January 2019 and immediately began to grow in his role. One of his pivotal successes was the cultivation and development of strong scientific partnerships with the psychiatry nursing community, including local and regional clinicians, academic centers, and organizations. As part of this, he maintained a bi-directional conversational flow of unbiased scientific data, as well as provided multiple educational programs to a variety of audiences. Through these conversations he carried the perspective of HCPs back to the company to help shape Teva's education and research focus.
Mark was promoted to a Senior MSL, and then to Associate Director-Field Excellence Lead to support and develop new MSLs. In his current role, Mark has multiple collaborative partnerships with psychiatry and neurology clinician researchers, and he is the point person for all study-related questions, as well as leading protocol trainings, and tracking study progress.
Prior to joining Teva, Mark was an independent pharmacy owner in East Tennessee, where he led a robust clinical practice. He served as a leader in his state pharmacy organization and as a faculty member for three different colleges of pharmacy. Through this practice, Mark positively impacted thousands of patients and HCPs, spanning multiple disease states, with a large focus on Neurology and Psychiatry.
