Caregiver Action Network

Jodi Koehn-Pike has been Content Development Manager at Caregiver Action Network (CAN) since Spring 2021. At CAN, she writes the material for multiple web properties, e-resources, guides, tips, blogs, social media, op-eds, and reports. Jodi manages the communications campaigns for CAN and writes all campaign press releases, outreach collateral, and social media content. During National Family Caregivers Month, she collaborates with corporate sponsors and creates all sponsor benefit images and social media content. Jodi also handles media relations for CAN. Before coming to CAN, Jodi was the Director of Publications and Media at the Council for Opportunity in Education—a non-profit organization in Washington, DC—for 15 years.

In her free time, she volunteers for several animal welfare organizations—which is her true passion. She monitors social media for Best Friends Animal Society and visits a Kids Read to Dogs program at the library with her therapy dog for Pets on Wheels. Recently, along with several other animal lovers, she started her own non-profit animal rescue—A Home of Their Own Animal Rescue.

Jodi received her Master of Arts in Russian and East European Studies with a concentration in Business and Economics from the University of Kansas and her B.A. double majoring in Political Science and Russian and East European Studies from the University of Wisconsin. Accordingly, she is an avid Kansas Jayhawk basketball and Wisconsin Badger football fan.
