Arundati (Arun) Nagendra, PhD, is the Director of Research and Scientific Affairs at the Schizophrenia & Psychosis Action Alliance (S&PAA). The mission of S&PAA is to advance systemic change and promote recovery through research, education, care, and advocacy. Dr. Nagendra oversees S&PAA’s scientific and education initiatives, which aim to address unmet needs in those impacted by schizophrenia-spectrum conditions.

Dr. Nagendra earned her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her clinical fellowship at Yale University’s School of Medicine, and her postdoctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
