Oladapo Yeku

MD, PhD, FACP, FASCO
Associate Professor
Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute / Harvard Medical School

Dr. Oladapo Yeku is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Director of Translational Research for the Gynecologic Oncology Program at the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute. He is an Associate Editor for Hematology and Oncology at NEJM Evidence. Dr. Yeku completed his Medical Oncology fellowship training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) and is an expert on immunotherapy for gynecologic cancers. Dr. Yeku is actively involved as a Principal Investigator in early-phase drug development, immunotherapy, and adoptive cellular therapy clinical trials. His translational laboratory studies the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment in Gynecologic Cancers and develops immunotherapeutic approaches such as bispecific T-cell engagers and Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cells to overcome these obstacles.

2026 Sessions

Chemo-Immunotherapy Is the New Standard for All Comers

This session will explore first-line treatment strategies for advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer, examining whether chemo-immunotherapy should be broadly applied or tailored based on molecular subtype. Faculty will review key clinical trial data, including outcomes by mismatch repair status, and discuss biomarker-driven decision-making, toxicity considerations, and real-world implementation. Participants will gain practical insight into optimizing treatment selection in a rapidly evolving landscape.

This discussion will support chemo-immunotherapy as a new standard across patient populations. Faculty will highlight pivotal trials demonstrating improved outcomes with the addition of immunotherapy to chemotherapy, regardless of mismatch repair status, and discuss durability of benefit, safety, and ease of implementation in routine practice.

pMMR/MSS Disease Demands a Different Strategy: Targeted Combinations and Molecular Subtyping Over Reflexive IO

This discussion will argue for a more tailored approach in pMMR/MSS disease. Faculty will examine the comparatively modest benefit of immunotherapy in this subgroup and emphasize the role of targeted combinations and molecular subtyping to guide treatment. Practical considerations around patient selection, sequencing, and emerging data will be addressed.
