Katherine Economy, MD is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. She is the Division Chief for Maternal Fetal Medicine at Mass General Brigham and Co-Directs the Program for Heart Disease in Pregnancy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. As a maternal-fetal medicine subspecialist, Kathy is especially drawn to clinical challenges at the interface of obstetrics and internal medicine, with a focus on cardiovascular disease in pregnancy. Dr. Heather Goff is a Professor of Dermatololgy at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas where she directs a clinic in the treatment of cutaneous lymphomas. She is a course director for dermatology at UT Southwestern medical school and was a founding member of the Basic Dermatology Curriculum Workgroup at the American Academy of Dermatology. She utilizes her background in fine art to collaborate with local art museums in a medical school elective entitled the Art of Observation.

Dr. Swanson is a board-certified dermatologist and pediatric dermatologist. She obtained her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She performed her dermatology residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. After that, she completed a fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Arizona. She was in private practice in Colorado from 2011 thru 2020. She moved to Boise, Idaho in summer 2020 to become the first and only pediatric dermatologist in the state of Idaho.

She is active in local and national medical societies and organizations. She loves lecturing at conferences discussing pediatric dermatology with audiences across the country. Since moving to Idaho, she works in private practice at Ada West Dermatology and she is on staff at St Luke’s Children’s Hospital where she sees hospital consults and performs procedures.

Dr. Weber is the Director of the Cardio-Dermatology and Cardio-Rheumatology Program, and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine with an MD-PhD in Immunology. She received internal medicine training, including serving as a chief medical resident, and cardiovascular training, including an advanced cardiovascular imaging research fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Her clinical interests include cardiovascular risk stratification and prevention with patients with systemic inflammatory disorders. Her research leverages advanced cardiovascular imaging (stress/PET and coronary CT), biomarkers, and immunology to investigate the relationships between systemic inflammation and CVD, with a focus on the coronary microcirculation and novel metrics of atherosclerotic plaque imaging. Her multi-disciplinary clinical and research program includes close collaborations between cardiology, rheumatology, and dermatology. As a testament to her success in this short time frame, she is the recipient of the 2025 American College of Cardiology (ACC) Douglas P. Zipes Distinguished Young Scientist Award.

David E. Fisher, MD, PhD, Chief of the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Dermatology from 2008 to 2025, is the Edward Wigglesworth Professor of Dermatology Harvard Medical School. He also serves as director of Mass General’s Cutaneous Biology Research Center and director of its multidisciplinary Melanoma Center. A professor of dermatology and pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Fisher came to MGH from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where he previously directed the melanoma program. Dr. Fisher’s research has focused on understanding molecular and genetic events which underlie formation of melanoma and skin pigmentation. As a clinician, he has worked to translate these understandings into advances in diagnosis, treatment and prevention of human diseases related to skin and associated disorders. Dr. Fisher is a 2020 inductee into the National Academy of Medicine. In 2022 he was selected to Direct the Melanoma Academy run by the US Department of Defense. And in 2025 he was selected as Fellow of the American Academy of Cancer Research (FAACR).

He received his doctorate under Nobel Laureate Gunter Blobel and Henry Kunkel at Rockefeller University and his medical degree at Cornell Medical College. Dr. Fisher’s specialty training in Medicine, Pediatrics, Oncology were carried out at MGH, Dana-Farber, Boston Children’s, Brigham and Women’s. His research contributions include elucidation of the pathway through which UV radiation induces pigmentation, identification of MITF as master transcriptional regulator in melanocytes and melanoma oncogene, novel approaches to melanoma treatment and prevention, and discovery of the link between ultraviolet radiation and addictive behaviors.

Emma Guttman-Yassky, MD, PhD, is the Waldman Professor of Dermatology and Immunology and Health System Chair of the Department of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. She is Director of the Center of Excellence in Eczema, Director of the Laboratory for Inflammatory Skin Diseases, and Co-Director of the Mount Sinai Clinique Skin Aging Center.

Dr. Guttman earned her MD from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University and her PhD from Bar-Ilan University, Israel. After completing dermatology training in Israel, she pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at The Rockefeller University, followed by a second dermatology residency at Weill Cornell Medical College, where she obtained American board certification.

Her research focuses on atopic dermatitis (eczema), hair loss disorders, and skin aging. She has made paradigm-shifting discoveries defining the immunologic basis of atopic dermatitis in both adults and children, leading to the development of targeted therapies. Her work has also advanced the understanding and treatment of alopecia areata, scarring alopecia, chronic hand eczema, keloids, ichthyosis, and other inflammatory skin diseases.

Dr. Guttman co-founded the International Eczema Council and is its past president. She has received numerous national and international awards, delivered keynote and plenary lectures worldwide, and authored more than 475 peer-reviewed publications in leading medical journals.
