Dr. Trisha Roy is an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College and a vascular surgeon-scientist at the Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center. She leads the Peripheral Vascular Translational Imaging Laboratory and the Peripheral Vascular Device Development Core at Houston Methodist Research Institute. Her work focuses on developing advanced MRI techniques and novel endovascular devices to improve the treatment of peripheral arterial disease.

Dr. Roy completed vascular surgery training and a PhD in medical imaging at the University of Toronto, where she pioneered an MRI technique for imaging occlusive peripheral arterial disease. This work led to the development of the CathPilot steerable catheter and the launch of a medical device startup.

Her research has been recognized with major awards including a Jerold B. Katz Investigator Endowment, an American Heart Association Transformational Project Award, and NIH R01 funding. Board-certified in vascular surgery, Dr. Roy integrates engineering, imaging science, and clinical expertise to advance precision endovascular care.
