Mr. Abubakar brings more than 15 years of strategic leadership experience in workforce development, supported by a distinguished career in the United States Army. He served as a Special Assistant to a former White House appointee and as an aide to the Commander‑in‑Chief, U.S. Army Europe and NATO. His international military assignments also include service on the staff of the Commander, Central Army Group (NATO) in Heidelberg, Germany.

He has lived, worked, and traveled extensively across Asia and Europe, gaining deep global perspective that informs his leadership approach. Mr. Abubakar holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Maryland Global Campus and earned his undergraduate degree while serving in the Leadership Development Division at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC) in Leavenworth, Kansas.

An accomplished martial artist and dedicated student of history, he currently resides in the Washington, D.C. area
