Dr. Margolis is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services and is currently on the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine faculty. He is the Medical Director of the Johns Hopkins Lifeline Critical Care Transport Program, Program Director of the EMS Fellowship, and Executive Director of the Center for Transport and Resuscitative Medicine at Johns Hopkins. He works closely with several local, state, and federal agencies as a Medical Officer within the Center for Law Enforcement Medicine at Johns Hopkins.
He completed a Master of Public Health at Yale University and his Doctor of Osteopathy at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served as Chief Resident and completed his EMS fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
