Dr Jeffrey P. Salomone, MD, FACS, a native oF Reno, NV, matriculated at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and then completed his Surgery residency and Surgical Critical Care FellowshIp at Tulane University in New Orleans. Jeff joined the faculty of Emory University in Atlanta, based at Grady Memorial Hospital. In 2012 he relocated to Phoenix, AZ where he served as the Trauma Medical Director for Valleywise Health and later opened both Adult and Pediatric Trauma programs at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa.. Throughout his career, EMS has played an major role in his career. Dr Salomone has served on NREMTs Board of Directors, the EMS Committee of the ACSCOT and the National EMS Advisory Council. He was President of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma.
