Faculty Agenda

Julius McAdams serves as the Manager/Administrative Chief for Novant Health New Hanover EMS in Wilmington, NC. With over 25 years in EMS, he has worked as a Paramedic, Tactical Paramedic, and Critical Care Flight Paramedic. His leadership roles have included Field Training Officer, Base Lead, Operations Supervisor, and Education Coordinator. Julius has developed programs aligned with CAMTS and CAAS standards, contributed to critical care and paramedic textbooks, and serves as a subject matter expert and item writer for the IBSC for the FP-C, CCP-C and CP-C. He has presented at state and national EMS, critical care, and simulation conferences. In 2021, he received the I-CAPP Tim Hynes Award as Flight Paramedic of the Year.
