Brian Maloney has more than 27 years of experience in emergency medical services in southwestern Pennsylvania, serving communities outside the City of Pittsburgh. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree from Carlow University.
Throughout his career, Brian has worked alongside dedicated professionals as an EMS practitioner, educator, and leader. He currently serves as a Director for Plum Emergency Medical Services, an organization grounded in a culture that continually asks, “What more can we be doing?”
By embracing this mindset, Plum EMS has earned local, state, and national recognition for its commitment to safety and innovation, including the appropriate use of lights and sirens, harm-reduction initiatives, community outreach, excellence in patient care, and a comprehensive child safety program.
