Andrew Bishop is an experienced MICA Flight paramedic, bringing a wealth of expertise in prehospital emergency care. With a Bachelor of Health Science and postgraduate degrees in prehospital intensive care and aeromedical and retrieval medicine, his academic foundation complements his extensive practical experience. Andrew has extensive experience lecturing on prehospital EKG analysis, particularly in occlusion myocardial infarction (OMI) detection and has been instrumental in shaping the educational landscape. Notably, Andrew has developed postgraduate content on OMI identification for Monash University as well as for Ambulance Victoria. Committed to knowledge dissemination, Andrew has had the privilege of presenting on this crucial topic multiple times, sharing insights that promise to significantly impact emergency medical services and enhance patient outcomes.
