Mark Baumgartner is a seasoned senior executive with over 35 years of leadership experience in behavioral health organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Outpatient Services at Meadows Behavioral Healthcare, Baumgartner has significantly expanded The Meadows Outpatient division to nine locations across seven states, serving over six hundred patients.
Meadows is recognized for its exemplary trauma and addiction care, employing a trusted and enduring model that addresses healing from adverse events and trauma throughout the lifespan. This model is grounded in evidence-based modalities developed with guidance from Meadows Senior Fellows.
Baumgartner is noted for his evidence-based leadership style, excelling in building engaged teams and enhancing organizational effectiveness. He has been a proponent of integrating clinical outcomes with innovative technologies, including artificial intelligence, to improve care delivery and operational efficiency.
Before his tenure at Meadows, Baumgartner held executive roles at The Betty Ford Center of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, where he led clinical teams for 19 years. He holds licensure as a professional counselor in multiple states and is certified in Gestalt Psychotherapy.
