90 min
Saturday, October 10, 2026
10:15 AM - 11:45 AM
Session Description: Experiential group therapy offers dynamic pathways for healing by engaging clients beyond words—through action, emotion, and connection. In this interactive 90 min workshop, clinicians will learn how to create safety and deepen therapeutic impact with groups using simple yet powerful experiential methods. Participants will explore how to establish emotional safety as a foundation, utilize sociometric tools to enhance group cohesion and insight, and practice sculpting techniques that allow clients to “show” their inner worlds rather than just talk about them. Emphasis will be placed on user-friendly enactments that clinicians can confidently integrate into their practice immediately. This session is designed for therapists who facilitate group therapy, and are seeking to expand their toolbox with creative, embodied, and trauma-informed approaches.
