Salma Health emerged from stealth with an $80 million Series A to build an integrated Brain Health Center of Excellence model that combines advanced diagnostics, rapid-acting interventions, and continuous care coordination under one roof. The round was co-led by Mubadala Capital and ARCH Venture Partners, with participation from Lingotto Horizon and others. Salma says it is addressing a fragmented system that spans psychiatry, neurology, psychology, and crisis care by building specially equipped clinics that provide in-person services augmented by telehealth, including intensive programs and crisis mitigation across a broad range of payers. The company is also launching clinical trial capabilities to partner with pharma and medical device companies, and an AI-driven technology platform to develop “Brain Health OS” for decision support and streamlined coordination. Salma’s clinical toolkit includes advanced treatments such as accelerated TMS/SAINT® neuromodulation, esketamine, psychotherapy, and pharmacotherapy. It has opened clinics in San Diego, Orange County, Fremont, and Berkeley, with additional U.S. expansion planned.
